Cate Blanchett- Best Actress in a Drama
Nominated for her role in "Carol", Cate tends to bring the drama to the red carpet each awards season wearing custom pieces by the biggest fashion houses such as Valentino, Armani and McQueen. So I wouldn't be surprised if she just so happened to show up in one of these gorgeous gowns. While the Valentino is very exotic and regal, the McQueen romantic floral could really add a softer look to her red carpet portfolio. I am pretty sure she could show up in something custom made for her, but if it happens to be one of these designers, I still get a point! Haha..yes. My rules!

Saoirse Ronan- Best Actress in a Drama
Nominated for her role as Eilis in "Brooklyn", Saoirse has been gracing all of her premieres with fun and quirky looks. One of my favorites has to be the Duro Olowu dress from this past week's Palm Springs Film Festival. She brings a breath of fresh air to the awards season with her style. Expect to see color, bold patterns and fun florals. While the Altuzarra look is a bit more understated, the faux Peter Pan color and bright sequin chevrons still add a fun vibe. As for my wish, I would just love to see her wear this fun and flirty midi floral by Marchesa. It fits in with the era of the movie and is just dying to be worn by Eilis herself.

Brie Larson- Best Actress in a Drama
Nominated for her role in "Room", this leading lady can don anything and look fabulous. I selected the Michael Kors sparkly number because she wore MK to her Trainwreck movie premiere. I love the mixed fabric which makes it sexy, sleek and fun! However, the Oscar de la Renta dress just kept jumping out at me during my research and it took me a while to figure out who's style it would fit best. I think Brie could really pull it off. I am in love with the mixed print , embellishments and bold colors.

Alicia Vikander- Best Actress in a Drama
Alicia has barely worn anything but Louis Vuitton to any red carpet event, but since I didnt really care for anything they had to show in either their Spring or Pre-Fall lines, ( she has worn quite a few pieces from both alread) I spotted these two beauties and thought they were a perfect match. Alicia has a classic style, so I love the vintagey vibe of the McQueen. It reminds me of a custom made Louis Vuitton she wore to one of her film premieres. BUT... this golden, fringey Marchesa has won me over. Please... Alicia wear this!!! It's your night. Nominated for not one but TWO awards for her lead role in "The Danish Girl" as well as a supporting role in "Ex Machina", this gown says Golden Globe all over it.

Amy Schumer- Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy
According to my friend Katie, ( the TV and MOVIE connoisseur), this could be Amy's night. Nominated for her lead role in Trainwreck ( that she also wrote), she has really taken Hollywood like a storm. With an Emmys win under her belt, we are sure to see her win big at the Globes. I have to say though, if I were her stylist, I would encourage her to add to her closet of red dresses. Sorry to say but it is disappointing to see that she keeps wearing the same style in almost the same two colors. It would be wonderful to see her wear one of these ultra-feminine figure flattering gowns. Add some flowy locks and we have a red carpet winner!

Helen Mirren- Best Actress in a Supporting Role in any Film
At 70, Helen Mirren is as gorgeous as ever. Nominated for her supporting role in the "Trumbo", we are sure to see Helen wear something beautiful. She never disappoints. While she tends to stick to more of a neutral palette, this red caped Naeem Khan would be a head turner for sure.

Caitriona Balfe- Best Actress in a TV Drama
As a former model, walking the red carpet should come as second nature. The Outlander beauty who is nominated for her lead role could look amazing in almost anything so I don't think she cold have a red carpet fail. This navy blue J. Mendel dress with lace detail would look absolutely STUNNING on this raven haired beauty, but the red Jenny Packham could work as well! She is on my list to look for!

Taraji P Henson- Best Actress in a TV Drama
I could place a bet that we will most likely see Taraji in Alexander Wang. I could also bet that we most likely havent seen it yet, so custom Wang for sure! If it were up to me, I would like to see her step away from the edgier style and have her stylist dress her in something bigger, brighter and bolder such as the coral Herrera ball gown to the right. Let Cookie shine!

Gina Rodriguez- Best Actress in a TV Musical or Comedy
My absolute favorite new show is Jane the Virgin. I hopped on the bandwagon in September while binging through Netflix. It is hysterically funny and heartwarming. Gina Rodriguez is brilliant as Jane. I can not wait to see what she wears. The Badgley fits into the realm of her love for figure hugging gowns, but the red Elie Saab screams Latin Heat! Perfect for Jane in a Telenovela! Go Gina! I hope you win!

Lady Gaga- Best Actress in a TV Limited Series / Movie
Nominated for her role in American Horror Story: Hotel, Lady Gaga could go big or go home, or perhaps she will choose something more demure and elegant. You never know with her, but either or she will be a showstopper. I am predicting something custom made by either Zac Posen or Versace if she wants to go edgier.

Joanne Froggatt- Supporting Actress TV Role
Either of these looks would make maid, Anna Bates blush. Nominated for her supporting role as Anna in (THE BEST SHOW EVER), Downton Abbey, Joanne has made my top red carpet list before with a Marchesa design. If she chose this Pre-Fall look, she could do it again! Even though this look seems like something you would find in Lady Mary's closet, I think its time to let Anna shine.

Uzo Aduba- Supporting Actress TV Role
I am almost positive that Uzo will be wearing something structured and cinched in at the waist. I struggled to find something among my list for her to wear, but I think she may show up in something custom made. A number of designers have dressed her before such as Zac Posen and Jonathan Cohen, but could she possibly wear one of my choices? We will have to wait and see what the OITNB actress chooses to wear.
