Let me preface this post, by saying...it has been WAY too long since my last shoot!! Almost a month!!?? Where has the time gone?? However, I am SO happy to be back at what I love doing the most!
This week, the hubby and I took a walk around Gramercy Park and Stuyvesant Square. This charming area is the East Side's version to the West Village. Townhouse lined streets lead to beautiful parks where you can just sit and people watch, sip some coffee or read a book. We were lucky enough to catch a bridal party dancing their way out of St. George's church to the tune of a New Orleans jazz band playing When the Saints Go Marching in. How cute is that?!?! I swear these things only happen in NY...or New Orleans for that matter ;)
Sunday was an absolutely beautiful day for a stroll with a just a slight chill in the air. This plaid sweater skirt I found at Topshop was PERFECT for the temps so it kept me warm. The blouse I paired it with has been something I have been on the lookout for a while. I love the idea of this neckline with the cutout, because it has a bit of a seventies feel. For those of you interested, the blouse is now available in black, olive and rusty orange as well. I linked to each color at the bottom.
Lastly, my trusty black fedora made another appearance on the blog. First off, I love this hat. I bought it at Forever 21 years ago and it still saves the day whenever my hair will NOT cooperate. I just can't seem to find another black hat that fits me as well! Doesn't have to be designer to be amazing!! I'll shop anywhere!
Stay tuned to the blog this month for so much more. I have a really awesome project coming up that I think you will all enjoy! xoxo
