Living In Color
This past weekend, the hubby and I took a day trip upstate just so we could breathe in some fresh air and spend some quality time with each other. I grew up in Western and Northern NY, so I really appreciate all that the rest of the state has to offer. I am a bit of a tree hugger so I love that the Hudson Valley and Westchester area is filled with them as well as beautiful little picturesque escapes that you simply can not find in the city. On the drive , we stopped by Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow (yes... just like the spooky story) which brought us to Kingsland Point County Park on the Hudson River. We found this beautiful mural that just so happened to match our outfits perfectly. It was meant to be!!! A masterpiece combined! I love colors and unique backdrops.
We also ate at a new restaurant, RiverMarket Bar and Kitchen. Delicious food and drinks! Stop by if you are in the area. Check out all of my photos below to see more of these pieces from Banana Republic. These are great transitional items to wear for the last days of summer and into the Fall.
Ooh, we found this 1883 Sleepy Hollow lighthouse too!
