WHAT THEY WORE: The TOP TEN LIST
The 72nd Golden Globes red carpet was full of gorgeous dresses and fun and flirty trends. We also saw the red carpet debut of George and Amal Clooney. She was dressed in black Dior Haute Couture with WHITE GLOVES! What a classy lady. I am not sure who else could have pulled it off, but she looked amazing. I also read that George wore his Armani wedding tux for the big event. Such a classy couple. Way to bring Old Hollywood back! As for the rest of the night, let's take a look at who made my best dressed list.

10. Emily Blunt in Michael Kors
This custom made dress was great for her, but I would have liked to see some more color. Perhaps a lemon chiffon yellow? What made this look was the hair and accessories.

9. Julianne Moore in Givenchy
I was so happy to see Julianne in this custom Givenchy. I am not always a fan of her red carpet looks and this was a home run. Love the silver sequins and feather mermaid train.

8. Dakota Fanning in Chanel
I remember that I predicted this dress for someone at the Emmys and they never wore it. So happy someone got to wear this and I thought Dakota looked great. Loved the thigh split and the stilettos. I think her hair and makeup could have been a bit different to complete the look, but the dress makes up for it.

7. Amal Clooney in Dior Haute Couture
Like a throwback to Old Hollywood, George and Amal walked the red carpet with so much class and grace. Amal looked stunning in Dior, a look that she decided on just the night before. Adding her own gloves (AHHH), it was an amazing first red carpet appearance. So in love.

6. Emma Stone in Lanvin
This girl can rock a pantsuit. I think the sash makes this look red carpet worthy. Its amazing. Love her Chanel makeup and the beach waves.

5. Joanne Froggatt in Marchesa
YAY ANNA! Win for Downton Abbey! Sorry, fangirl aside, Joanne was radiant last night. I adored her boho crown braid. Her makeup was perfection. Patterns don't always work on the red carpet, but this was the best I have seen.
Marie Claire UK

4. Sienna Miller in Miu Miu
So many of my girlfriends were hating on this dress, but I am sticking to my guns and loving it. I love the hemline with just a glimpse of her shoes and this neckline works for her. Add on the beautiful embellishments, gorgeous jewelry and amazing hair, she looks great!

3. Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad
Ok. This could be #1. In many ways it is, but when is Jennifer not flawless. The woman is aging backwards and it is unfair to us all. How does she do it. There really isn't anything bad that I can say about this look. A shoe in for top 3!

2. Kate Beckinsale in Elie Saab
There has got to be something in the water over there in the UK!!! Does Kate ever have a bad day? I love the taupe color. The sequins made her sparkle all over and that bun perfection undo. Bravo for wearing your hair up Kate. Not everyone has to wear it down!

1. Diane Kruger in Emilia Wickstead
Drumroll for #1! FLAWLESS!!!!! Photos don't even do this dress justice. It sparkled every time she moved. It was somewhere between powder blue and silver in color and had a beautiful open back. Her makeup was subtle and not overdone and her retro waves were gorgeous. Diane is always one of my inspirations for makeup trends, and this look did not disappoint.
